Care That Sees You.
Support That Fits You.
Mental health care should feel personal.
At Therapeutic Empowerment & Wellness, we believe your care should reflect who you are—your experiences, your needs, your goals, and your story.
That’s why we’ve built a diverse team of professionals with different backgrounds, perspectives, specialties, and approaches to care.

Different people need different things from therapy.
Different experiences. Different personalities. Different needs. Different goals.
Finding the right support isn’t about fitting into a box—it’s about finding care that fits you.
That’s why we built TEW differently.
We Built TEW Around People
Not everyone needs the same kind of support—or connects with the same kind of provider. Our approach gives you options, so care can feel more personal from the very beginning.
Care That’s Personal
Your experiences, goals, culture, relationships, and life circumstances matter. We look at the whole person—not just a diagnosis.
A Team With Range
Different backgrounds. Different specialties. Different approaches. Our team supports children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
More Than One Path to Support
Therapy, medication management, and additional wellness support can work independently or together based on what you need.
One team. Many perspectives. One place to start.

More Than Mental Health Care
Our mission is rooted in the whole person.
Our mission is to provide holistic, strength-based, culturally responsive care that empowers individuals and families to grow, heal, and thrive.
We believe meaningful care considers the whole person—their emotional wellness, relationships, family, community, culture, strengths, and lived experiences.
At TEW, you’re not simply receiving a service. You’re becoming part of a community built around connection, empowerment, and wellness.
You deserve care that recognizes all of who you are.
Built With Care in Mind
TEW began with a simple idea: care should feel different—for clients and clinicians.
After years of working in behavioral health, co-founders Christina Johnson and Joseph Snider saw an opportunity to create the kind of space they believed mental health care could be.
They wanted clients to feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported—not like a number on a caseload.
And they wanted the same for clinicians.
TEW was created as a place where therapists could grow, strengthen their skills, develop their own therapeutic voice, and do meaningful work in an environment that values quality of care over productivity for productivity's sake.
That belief continues to shape who we are today. As TEW has grown, our goal has remained the same: create a community where people feel supported, professionals are empowered to do their best work, and excellent care is never separated from humanity.
When clinicians have the space to grow, clients receive better care.
